Dear Students and Parent(s) or Guardian,
Field Day has been cancelled due to expected bad weather. The field is a bit soggy now and with the overnight rain it should turn in to a pond. The new date is April 2nd.
Our site is offically up again. I want to thank you for all of your hard work in getting your child this far through the year. The third quater ends on March 26th. Our focus in reading is to continue to strengthen students comprehension, fluency and awareness during reading; In math, we will focus on mastering the concepts covered throughout the year. In writing, we will be working towards preparing for the Florida Writes- students will expand their writing through use of the six traits of writing ( voice, focus, support, expression, word choice and conventions). In science, we will continue to focus on learning through inquiry. In Social Studies, we will continue to learn about communities and how they function. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Upcoming dates:
May 7th is our Spring Show, please plan to attend at 6:00 pm.The show begins at 6:30. The students have been working diligently on learning the words and their dance moves. :) Hope to see you all soon.
